What is a Logo?
A logo is a graphic mark, emblem, symbol, images, texts, shapes, or a combination of these or stylized name used to identify a company, the organization, product, or brand. A logo must try to communicate the brand essence of a company or what the organization represents. Logos represent all essence of the
product, or brand.

In the logo world, We can be divided into five basic categories: Wordmarks, Lettermarks, Brandmarks, Combination marks, and Emblems.

*Emblem.
Wordmark
A wordmark – also known as word mark or logotype.These types of logos consist of text only – company names, monograms or initials.
Lettermark
Also known as a monogram logo. A monogram logo contains one to four letters, rather than its full name of the company
Brandmark
Pictorial marks – are logos that are made up of a graphic symbol or icon, one that (usually) represents a real-world object.
Combination mark
A wordmark or lettermark with a symbol (often called a logomark) is what makes up a combination logo. It’s the most common type of logo design world
Emblem
Emblem is one of the oldest forms of a logo design method. An emblem also involves both text and symbol, but in this case the text appears inside the symbol.
